I, Jean-Olivier Schneider, born in 1966, founded CEO Transition early 2022. The original aim of this company is to propose interim management missions, C level, for industrial SME’s.

With more than 15 years experience as a General Manager, I help my customers in driving their transformation projects, achieving the turnaround or development of a subsidiary, replacing a missing director…

During CEO Transition launching period, I was approached with demands for Supply Chain optimization. Since I used to deliver such services during my time as a consultant in the years 2000s, I decided to build a complementary value proposition on that subject.

This value proposition focuses on the diagnosis and the design of the Supply Chain. The aim is to build a transformation plan, together with the client’s team, in order to initiate change and get concrete results quickly. One of the key benefit of this approach is to help the customer align its operations with its strategy.

That’s how I now act, through CEO Transition, as a freelance interim manager and Supply Chain consultant. Both offers originated from a strong and dual experience in company leadership and consulting.

ABOUT THE BUMBLEBEE

ORIGINS OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN VALUE PROPOSITION

I spent 8 years working as a consultant for Celerant, an international consulting practice.

Celerant’s core business was to deliver operational excellence projects. With durations of 6 to 18 months, those projects always had concrete and measurable objectives, to be delivered during their implementation.

The most striking aspects of those projects were the actual behavioral change within the client’s workforce and the sustainability of results, that could still be observed, long after the project ended.

However, while Celerant’s hands-on approach was very efficient for optimizing a workfloor or a department, it took some adaptation in the case of Supply Chain optimization.

In the years 2000s, Celerant went on building up a team of experts, able to tackle the global and strategic aspect of Supply Chain, while keeping the change management and results oriented DNA of the practice.

In 2006, I became the Supply Chain capability leader of Celerant France.

That’s how I got to lead Supply Chain optimization projects in France, but also Sweden, Denmark, Germany…

GEOGRAPHIES

I am French and CEO Transition is a French company, located in Paris.

On a personal level, I am the lucky husband of a Dutch wife and father of 3 sons with double nationality, French-Dutch. Our family home is in the Netherlands, just north of The Hague.

Although I work mostly in France, I spend a lot of my time, in the Netherlands, particularly week-ends.

My geographic reach is Europe.
